The Role

We're looking for a Java & Angular Fullstack Developer who's comfortable working across the entire stack, building polished hybrid mobile and web experiences on the frontend and robust, well-tested REST APIs on the backend.

You'll ship real features end to end, from the Angular and Ionic interface a user taps, through the Spring Boot services and MySQL data behind it. This is a fully remote role on an async team, so you'll own your work, communicate clearly, and keep quality high with automated tests at every layer.

What You'll Do

Frontend (hybrid app)

• Build and maintain a cross-platform hybrid app with Angular 19, Ionic 8, and Capacitor 8 in TypeScript.
• Manage application state and data flow using RxJS and NgRx.
• Craft clean, responsive interfaces with Angular Material, and integrate platform services like Firebase and the Google Maps SDK.
• Write and maintain automated tests with Jest and Playwright.

Backend (API)

• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs with Java 21, Spring Boot 3, and Spring Data JPA.
• Model and query data in MySQL, and use Redis for caching and performance.
• Implement secure authentication with JWT / OAuth2 and scheduled jobs with Quartz.
• Work with cloud and delivery infrastructure: AWS S3, Docker, and AWS CDK.
• Ensure reliability with automated tests using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers.

Across the team

• Collaborate asynchronously with engineers, designers, and product on a fully remote team.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.

What We're Looking For

• 2 to 4 years of experience with Angular (or a similar component-based framework) and TypeScript.
• 2+ years building REST APIs on a JVM backend, Spring Boot preferred.
• Comfortable working with relational databases and writing automated tests.
• Able to work and communicate asynchronously on a fully remote team.
• Strong written English communication and a reliable remote work setup.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ionic / Capacitor or another hybrid mobile framework.
• NgRx or another Redux-style state library.
• AWS exposure (S3, CDK / CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating third-party or webhook APIs (CRMs, e-signature, payments).

Compensation

This role offers a competitive monthly salary of IDR 11,000,000 to 16,000,000, based on your experience and skills.
