About the Role

The HR Intern joins our 4-person People Operations team to support the day-to-day engine that keeps our 120+ team members supported. You will spend most of your time in HR administration, HRIS support, and reporting, with growing exposure to internal communications and operations cycles. This is a learning-heavy role designed to build a strong foundation across the full HR function.

Internship is 6 months. Strong performers will be considered for full-time conversion, with the role and track decided based on team needs and your demonstrated strengths during the program.

Reporting Line

You will report to and be supervised day-to-day by our HR Generalist, with weekly check-ins involving the Head of People Operations.

What You'll Do

1. HR Administration

  • Organize and maintain HR documentation and employee files
  • Maintain and update employee data and HR records
  • Maintain E-Chips records and Airtable employee databases
  • Support daily HR operational and administrative activities
  • Help draft standard HR letters (templated correspondence, certificates, internal memos)
  • Draft performance review email to be sent out to client

2. HRIS / Talenta Support (Limited Access)

  • Daily attendance monitoring and flagging of incomplete clock-ins and clock outs
  • Simple time-off and overtime administration (logging, status checks, follow-ups)
  • Preparing attendance recap for HR Generalist's final review
  • Update Talenta data to match with Data Karyawan

3. Data & Reporting

  • Simple HR reports (headcount, leave usage, ticket volume)
  • Weekly attendance recap
  • Monthly overtime recap

4. Operations Support (Draft Stage)

You will prepare first drafts of the following for review and sign-off by the Head of People Ops before anything is sent:

  • Overtime request recap covering both employee submissions and client approval status
  • Weekly CSM performance summary pulled from internal data sources
  • Monthly newsletter (industry updates, team moves, birthdays, weddings, closing note)

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Final-year student (semester 6 or higher) or recent graduate in Psychology, Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English. Eterna operates in English across all internal and client communications
  • Strong Google Workspace skills, especially Google Sheets (filters, basic formulas, pivot tables)
  • Comfortable in a fully remote, Discord-first work environment, and work in a US Shift (Indonesian Night Shift)
  • Available for a full-time, 6-month commitment
  • Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement on day one. The role involves access to confidential HR data.
  • Have a stable internet connection to ensure smooth communication and uninterrupted workflow
  • Have a reliable and capable PC/Laptop, as the applications and tools used for work require a decent level of performance to support productivity and comfortable day to day operations

Nice to Have

  • Prior internship experience in HR, People Operations, or administrative roles
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Talenta a strong plus)
  • Familiarity with Airtable and Canva
  • Exposure to BPO, outsourcing, or US-client-facing work

Data Access

This role has limited sensitive data access. You will work with CSM performance data and overtime data as part of your responsibilities, but will not have access to salary information or named employee complaints/grievances. NDA required on day one of work.
